The Cerealbowl
Collective was founded in the Fall of 2008 by Nicholas Laugher, Alexandre
Bergeron and Andrew Rhodenizer.
It is a community of local artists sharing
their art and facilitating other, likeminded artists in a community-like
setting.
The Cerealbowl Collective serves as a label, publisher and promoter
for its members
who all work together to achieve a common goal of
awareness and appreciation for local, independent artists.
The Cerealbowl
Collective invests in and releases artistic projects from its
members,
whether they be physical releases - such as records or books
- or digital releases,
the proceeds of which are recycled back into the
collective,
eventually funding another
project.
The "News" section is a
constantly updated feed of updates, experiments and ambiguity.
These posts
are made by the artists of the Bowl whenever they feel inclined.
It acts
as an open forum for sharing ideas and previewing work.
This website is a work
in progress as we change over from the old format.
More releases and artists will be added over the course of
the next few weeks.
For submissions,
comments and inquiries of any sort,
emails can be sent to laugher@cerealbowlcollective.org
and will most
certainly be read
